Sanctuary on 8th Street
Saturday June 9th, 2018
Marina at Ortega Landing worked with Sanctuary on 8th Street to reface the building's exterior. Volunteers repainted the front of the facility and created murals for the insets of the boarded up windows to make the exterior more inviting for the children.
Sanctuary on 8th Street works to encourage and empower Jacksonville youth and families in need by ministering to their spiritual, physical, social and intellectual needs. They offer camps, after school programs, tutoring and a welcome and safe environment for children and teens.
If you were unable to attend our day of community service, but would still like to help, please feel free to donate directly to the organization. Monetary donations can be provided through the Sanctuary on 8th Street's Donations page
Our number one goal is to work together inspiring others through the act of giving back our time, support efforts, accessible resources, goods and services.
