Empowering Education at Escuela Primaria León Cota Collins
IGY Marina Cabo San Lucas has enhanced the learning environment for over 450 students at Escuela Primaria León Cota Collins elementary school with a series of impactful contributions. The marina donated eight state-of-the-art classroom projectors along with ceiling mounts, ensuring teachers have access to modern teaching tools that facilitate dynamic learning experiences. Additionally, IGY provided sports equipment to bolster the school’s soccer, basketball, and football programs, promoting healthy, active lifestyles among students.
Looking ahead, the IGY Marina Cabo San Lucas team will refurbish the school’s basketball goals in January, further supporting the students’ physical education and extracurricular activities.
Spreading Holiday Joy with the Director of Tourism
In collaboration with Ana Gabriela Navarro, Director of Tourism for the local government, IGY Marina Cabo San Lucas donated 117 toys to benefit underprivileged children in the Miraflores community. The toys will bring holiday cheer to families in need, with IGY Marina staff actively participating in the distribution of these gifts on January 6, ensuring a memorable holiday experience for the children.
