Developed to celebrate and reward valued crew working through the season, IGY’s schedule of activities and events has been expanded far beyond the famous IGY parties at popular cruising hotspots. Indeed, the program provides varied opportunities to improve physical and mental health while enjoying IGY’s customary luxury service.
From pilates to padel, and from cornhole contests to wine tasting, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at selected destinations, giving crew a much-needed opportunity to enjoy time out before embarking on the next adventure.
Enjoy downtime in the U.S. and the Caribbean 
A wide choice of wellness activities and fun events is available for captains and crew at IGY destinations in the U.S. and the Caribbean, from the traditional to the unexpected.
Prestigious Isle de Sol on St. Maarten leads the way with an extensive programme designed for relaxation, fitness and fun. Activities include yoga, pilates, pickleball, wine tasting and pool parties. Neighbouring Simpson Bay Marina provides further opportunities to recharge, including a running club, golf, crew parties and ladies’ night.
One of the most popular marinas to spend downtime is IGY’s award-winning Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas. Crew can take part in yoga, volleyball and padel, before catching up with old friends and new acquaintances at a barbecue, pool party or captains’ dinner in a privileged setting.
Rodney Bay Marina in St. Lucia is also great for spending some downtime. This lively marina is known for its happy hours and crew parties showcasing the mouthwatering Creole, French, Indian and British flavours from the island.
On the East Coast of the U.S., why not join fellow crew for a game of cornhole at Savannah Harbor Marina in the Deep South or at Maximo Marina in the Tampa/St. Pete area of Florida. Simple and fun, cornhole involves tossing small bags, horseshoes or other light objects at an inclined board with a hole in it. Both marinas also run barbecue parties and food truck nights.

Time off can be just as rewarding at IGY Marinas in the Mediterranean. Here, you can relax and unwind at your own pace in a choice of luxury destinations.
One of the best places to enjoy downtime is the sparkling IGY Vieux-Port de Cannes in the South of France. Go for a round of golf, play volleyball, test your knowledge at a pub quiz, or catch up with familiar faces at one of the crew parties.
Just along the French coast, IGY Sète Marina and in-water shipyard is proving extremely popular among captains and crew, thanks in part to a diverse programme of activities and events, including pilates, billiards, a movie night and games night.
Another interesting option for crew downtime is IGY Portisco Marina in Sardinia. Located at the gateway to Costa Smeralda, the marina offers golf, wine tasting, happy hours and crew parties. Local wines can also be sampled at IGY Málaga Marina in the South of Spain, or why not have a game of football before joining a crew party.
