Brian Deher – CMM
EVP & Head of Global Marina Operations

Brian Deher is IGY’s Executive Vice President & Head of Global Marina Operations. He is supported by IGY’s Regional Directors and General Managers and is responsible for all marina operations within the company’s global portfolio. Brian has been with IGY for over 20 years including, most recently, as IGY’s Vice President of Operations for Americas, where he led operations across IGY’s marinas in the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America. He has also been deeply involved in supporting IGY’s Development and M&A Teams during his tenure with the company.

Brian served multiple terms as president and as an executive board member of the St. Maarten Marine Trades Association (SMMTA). He also served on the board of the Caribbean Marine Trades Association in his capacity as president of the SMMTA. Brian has assisted with many non-marine related initiatives including the Labor Tripartite Committee, The Committee of Experts advising Government on zoning and development plans, and the Advanced Vocational & Adult Education board. Brian also served as a member and vice-chair of the board of SZV which manages the Social Health Insurance for the country of St. Maarten.

Brian was born in St. Maarten where he lives with his family. He spent his childhood studying in Puerto Rico, the US, and Europe and returned to the Caribbean in 1997 after graduating with a Bachelors of Business Administration from the George Washington University in Washington DC.
