This 5-day itinerary is just a sample of many things that you can explore in Cannes.

DAY 1

Spend the day exploring Le Suquet, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Cannes, where you can sample local delicacies, stroll through cobblestone streets lined with boutiques, restaurants up to a magnificent view of Cannes, La Croisette and the Lérins Islands from an ancient castle and beautiful church.

DAY 2

Head over to the largest of the two Lérins Islands, Sainte Marguerite, and take a tour of the prison that held the “Man in the Iron Mask” for many years and hosts the maritime museum, where you can see collections of archaeology from the surrounding sea. Spend the afternoon, having a beach picnic then heading back to your yacht for some water sports off the coast.

DAY 3

Shop in some of the finest boutiques along the Rue d’Antibes. Stop at some of the amazing chocolatiers along your trip. Once your shopping adventure is complete, take in a show at the casino and try your luck at one of the tables.

DAY 4

About a mile from the city by boat is Saint-Honorat Island where you can see where you can have a beach picnic or dine by the water at La Tonnelle Restaurant, see how the monks of Lérins Abbey use ancient methods to produce 7 different delectable wines, and tour the monuments throughout the 40-hectare island. Head back to town and visit one of the casinos for drinks and dinner.

DAY 5

Enjoy a relaxing day at one of the private beach clubs where you can soak up the beautiful sunshine while being pampered with an incredible view of the sea. Indulge in some gastronomic delights at the restaurants along to beach. You can spend the afternoon visiting the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès and Chemin des Etoiles where the stars leave their signatures and handprints. Every year a select group of peoples’ hands are cast in stainless steel and added to over 140 casts already decorating the front of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

MUSEE DE LA CASTRE

If you follow the path up the top of Le Suquet, you will reach the Musée de la Castre, a building that once housed Lérins monks, but is now home to artifacts from all over the world. You can also walk up the tower and enjoy panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes.

Fort Royal

On one of the Lérins Islands, Sainte-Marguerite this fort once housed the “Man in the Iron Mask” and offers a museum where you can view maritime artifacts.

VILLA ROTHSCHILD

Gorgeous palace and gardens built in 1881 and then donated to the Académie des Beaux-Arts. This immense estate is open to the public to view the gardens, art collections, and now serves the public as a library.

MARCHE FORVILLE

The oldest market in Cannes, local produce, seafood, flowers and other delectable fare that would make great additions to any picnic or culinary outing.

QUAY ST PIERRE

Enjoy a delicious meal in a fine gourmet restaurant with a lovely view on the marina.

Pyrotechnic Art Festival – Held over the Bay of Cannes, some of the most beautiful and largest pyrotechnic displays complete for the grand prize. Combined with music these lighted art displays are sure to impress.

Cannes Yachting Festival – International Yacht Show that attracts visitors from all over the world for this 5-day event was started in 1977.
