3 Days Itinerary

Day 1

Nothing better than to start the day with a great breakfast at the Caffè Sole in the renowned Piazzetta of Porto Cervo with a relaxing sea view. Set sail from the marina to the nearby bay and relax on the beach of the island of Mortorio for lunch provided by the crew, picnic style. Dine at the famous Pescatore restaurant, which offers an authentic “pieds dans l’eau” experience of Sardinian fish cuisine.

Day 2

Take all day long to visit the Archipelago of La Maddalena, that is just 10 kms away from Porto Cervo. Swim up to the beach from the anchor position and you will see the eighth wonder of the world. On return to Porto Cervo Old Port, enjoy happy hour at the Nikki Beach bar located in the waterfront village, vibrant and very special place to watch the sun go down. Dinner at la Pergola, a fine-dining and glamorous restaurant located in the piazzetta of Porto Cervo.

Day 3

Try the experience of the Pevero Health Trail which was created to share the different side of the Smeralda Coast. Its paths provide an intense workout for runners or mountain bikers, as well as relaxing walks for families. The trail also includes several interesting monuments to bygone rural life. Lunch at Romazzino restaurant and relax at the famed Romazzino beach. In the evening, dine at the Novikov restaurant, offering the best fusion Asian culinary experience in the destination and with a cocktail list to suit every palate.

Day 4

Start early with a round of golf at the Pevero Golf Club, an 18-hole stunning Robert Trent Jones designed course before enjoying a sumptuous lunch at the renowned golf club restaurant. Following lunch, head off to the popular local market at San Pantaleo located 15 mins drive from the marina. For dinner head off to the Hotel Cala di Volpe and dine with ‘Matsuhisa at Cala di Volpe’ restaurant, featuring Japanese cuisine Nobu style in a completely renewed location, the iconic Bar Pontile, overlooking the charming pier and the yachts berthed in the most glamorous bay of the Mediterranean.

Day 5

Relax on the beach of “Il Principe” and reach the green, pink, turquoise and blue heart of the Costa Smeralda, just 10 km by car from Porto Cervo. Lunch at Nuna Ceviche Bar & Mediterranean Tapas, a celebration of life and the Mediterranean sun. Nuna reflects the spirit of the neighborhood and connects with like minded souls, tasting fresh Mediterranean tapas, all paired with your favourite drink. Browse the shops in the Porto Cervo village, visiting the most beautiful boutiques with world renown brands on show. Dinner in the hotel restaurant Pitrizza admiring an enchanting view from the terrace on the sparkling turquoise waters, guests will feel surrounded by pure beauty.

STELLA MARIS

Built in the 1960s by Michele Busiri Vici, this white-washed church with its rounded exterior features no interior corners. Explore the amazing architecture and artwork that makes this church so fascinating.

Just for the kids this 11,000 square meter playground is filled with activities.

MONTE DI MOLA MUSEUM

This museum opened its doors in 2007 and features modern and contemporary art that builds on each floor leading up to the terrace on the fourth floor.

EASTER

Many towns and villages all over the island commemorate Easter with celebrations, decorations, and costumes.

MAY

San Simplicio
The patron saint of Olbia is Saint Simplico. There are celebrations and events occur over the entire month with the 15th having a procession go through town in costumes.

Vela & Golf
A maximum of six teams take part in both a golf tournament and race in the waters off of Porto Cervo. The team with the most points from both wins.

Porto Cervo Wine and Food Festival
Experience the bet Italian Wine and Food at this weekend event. From tastings with experts to educational seminars, this event is sure to teach you something.

Audi Sailing Champions League
First Qualifying stage of the Sailing Champions League. Teams from all over the world compete in short and fast fleet regattas.

JUNE

Le Cozze di Olbia
For the entire month restaurants all showcase their talents in preparing mussels from appetizers to desserts.

JULY

Fish Festival – Saint Teresa Gallura
The Fish Fair in Santa Teresa Gallura marks the rebellion of 1802 and is also a celebration of the sea’s offerings, with an abundance of fish species and fried fish delicacies and dishes for sampling.

AUGUST

Formenton Trophy
The Formenton Trophy, a commemorative manifestation of the former President of Mondadori Mario Formenton, is organized by the Sporting Club Sardinia of Porto Pollo, the Yacht Club Punta Sardegna and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The event, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2018, is open to all sailing enthusiasts and is the offshore regatta in Sardinia with the largest participation.

SEPTEMBER

Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup
In its 29th year, top shipbuilders and professional sailors arrive in large numbers. The event organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and in collaboration with the IMA (International Maxi Association) and with the support of the historical Title Sponsor Rolex promises a week full of events on land and by sea.

Perini Navi Cup
Owners and Crew face off in the La Maddalena Archipelago for four intense days. There are events occurring both in the water and on land.
