TYBEE ISLAND

FORSYTH PARK

The North side of this beautiful park displays a fountain from 1858 that was purchased from a Sears catalogue. Experience the tranquillity of this magnificent destination.

SAVANNAH CITY MARKET

Situated in the heart of downtown Savannah, this pedestrian only area features shopping, food, local galleries and much more. This historic area is the heart of the city and has survived the great hurricane of 1896, two fires and the Civil War bringing people together since the 1700s.

RIVER STREET

With over 70 shops, galleries pubs and hotels this waterfront destination served as the original main port in Georgia since 1733. The hand-laid cobblestones that pave the roads were made from ballast material on the many ships that came into harbor originating from France, Canada, Spain and the British Isles.

WORMSLOE HISTORIC SITE

This oak lined avenue leads to the oldest standing structure in Savannah, Wormsloe tabby ruin. Visit the museum with artifacts from the property that was originally owned by Noble Jones, a carpenter that was one of the original settlers from England.

DAVENPORT HOUSE MUSEUM

Saved by a group of seven women in 1955 from being turned into a parking lot, the C. 1820 house and has been recreated from items in inventory or recreations to replicate how it looked in 1820 when it was owned by master builder Isaiah Davenport.

MIGHTY 8TH AIR FORCE MUSEUM

Major General Lewis E. Lyle who served in the Eighth in World War II made it his mission for families of fallen air service men and women to have a memorial for their loved ones since there are no battlefields in the sky that can be memorialized.
