The health and safety of our customers and employees is, and always has been our highest priority. Our new IGY Dock Well program brings together a number of new and existing well-being measures to give you peace of mind as you plan your next stay:


IGY Marinas Reservation ensures that everything is taken care of prior to arrival so that it is not necessary to go to the Marina Office upon arrival.

  • Marina Staff will contact you through email or by phone to confirm availability and what information is needed to confirm your stay

    • Some necessary paperwork includes:

      • Vessel Insurance
      • Registration
      • Credit Card Authorization Form
      • Formal Declaration for Customs of All Aboard, Symptoms, and Location in the Last 14 Days
  • Reservations will be confirmed by Marina Staff prior to arrival.


Our Staff is Trained to Follow Strict Personal Hygiene Protocols. There is daily health screening IGY employees.

  • Arrival information is sent to all customers upon reservation confirmation, so they know what to expect

  • Advise Marina of estimated arrival time so that Customs and Immigration appointments can be scheduled 

  • Contact Marina prior to arrival to ensure that all proper marina paperwork is completed, pilot vessel (if applicable) is ready and dockhands are ready to catch your lines

  • Social distancing rules are applied at disembarkation to minimize crowding

  • Check-In Requires No Contact

  • For Customs and Immigration appointments, please note that if arriving after hours, quarantine flag must be flown until cleared into marina

  • Marina Office can assist with scheduling fueling, provisioning, or any other services that are available


Our Dock Well Program continues throughout your stay at any of our Marina Locations. We continue to update and improve our practices as needed.

  • Hand Sanitizing Stations are present throughout the Marina Office and Marina Property

  • Temporary changes to Captain and Crew Lounge, including limited capacity, increased physical distancing, hand sanitizing stations, and enhanced disinfection of surfaces

  • Enhanced cleaning and limited occupancy of Guest Amenities, including gym, sunbathing areas, dining areas, and other common areas throughout the property focused on high contact surfaces

  • Regular disinfection of common areas, modes of transportation (i.e. golf carts, bicycles, etc.), as well as the installation of hygiene screening stations in Marina reception

  • Vendors and fuel staff are required to follow Marina Protocols and Standards for Social Distancing and Hygiene Screening

  • Health screening of 3rd party vendors, new crew and guests

  • Any inquiries will be handled in a timely manner via phone or email


  • Notify Marina Office departure time so that water and electric costs can be charged to credit card on file or through wire transfer

IGY Sète Marina, in the South of France offers dedicated superyacht multi-year berthing and can accommodate vessels up to 180m (590 ft) with a draft up to 8m. Set in a protected and secure private basin with power available up to 2,000A, it’s an ideal year-round home port. It allows for in-water repairs and maintenance and has a number of storage options. The marina benefits from the high level of customer service provided by IGY Marinas and is located only a 25 minute drive from Montpellier International airport.

Evan Wien - Vice President of Corporate Development

Evan Wien
Evan Wien is the Vice President of Corporate development for Island Global Yachting. In this role, Wien is responsible for various business and corporate development initiatives including acquisitions, strategy and new business lines.

Prior to joining IGY, Wien was an Associate at Resource America, a portfolio company of Island Capital Group, which manages $9 billion of gross real estate related and alternative assets. He focused on private debt investments in companies across a variety of industries, where he led financial, business and industry diligence. Wien began his career as an investment banking analyst at UBS and later JPMorgan in New York.  

Wien earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia with a concentration in Finance.

Steven English - Executive Vice President of Corporate Development

Steve English Exec VP of Corporate Development Steve English is Executive Vice President of Corporate Development of Island Global Yachting and a Managing Director of Island Capital Group. He has been with the Island Capital family of companies since 2007, having initially joined the firm’s Dubai-based team where he oversaw principal investments for IGY in the Middle East and Europe. Steve has served with Island Capital in various roles, including leading C-III's Real Estate Owned (REO) Asset Management, Real Estate Sales and Non-Performing Loan Sales business divisions with average assets under management in excess of $2.5 billion per annum.

Previously, he executed acquisitions for the firm’s real estate private equity group. Steve has presided over acquisitions, dispositions and financings totaling over $10 billion during his tenure with the Island Capital family of companies. He commenced his career in management consulting where he focused on corporate strategy and turnarounds.

Steve completed his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in three years at The American University, graduating in 1995 with a double major in Political Science and International Relations. He received a Master of Business Administration jointly from New York University, HEC School of Management Paris and the London School of Economics & Political Science.

Bert Fowles - Vice President of Sales and Marketing


With more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience, Bert Fowles joined the IGY Marinas team in 2007 as Vice President of Marketing & Sales. Fowles is responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans leading to revenue growth for numerous international marinas, as well as providing direction and support to IGY’s third-party clients in respect to marketing and sales.

Prior to joining IGY Marinas, Fowles served as operations manager for Prime Sports Ltd., one of the Caribbean’s leading casino gaming companies. He has also held several key marketing management positions in the hospitality and resort industry, including a number of years with SuperClubs Resorts where he serviced brands such as Hedonism, Grand Lido and Breezes.

Fowles serves on several boards, including the United States Superyacht Association and Marine Industries Association of South Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, where he majored in Business Administration.
